Reservations must be checked in by 7:00 P.M. (If you will be arriving later then 7:00 P.M. we ask that you please contact the front desk @ 970-945-6279 to make arrangements.)


No pets are allowed in rooms or on premises. Service dogs will be welcomed with proper documentation. A $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if a pet is found in your room. You will also be asked to leave with no refund for unused portion of your reservation.


We at the Hanging lake Inn do not offer breakfast. We are in the hospitality business, we can guarantee you a squeaky clean room with a great view although we leave the cooking for our experts in the restaurant business. Glenwood Springs has many outstanding breakfast places and we would hate for you not to explore them.


Bikes are not allowed in rooms.


No vaping, No smoking of any substance is allowed! All guest rooms and deck areas are non-smoking. Smoking on decks or in rooms will result in being asked to leave with no refund for unused portion of your reservation. A $150.00 Cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card.


Hanging Lake Inn offers rooms on the first and second floor. Our King Standard rooms are located on the second floor. We do not have a elevator.


A valid credit card is required to book a reservation. Your credit card will be pre-authorized and your room will be reserved. If your credit card changes, you are required to contact the office to make the following changes. If You fail to do so your room will be released without notice.

In an event you must cancel or modify your reservation, Hanging Lake Inn requires a 2 day/ 48 hour notice to be given prior to your arrival date. If less notice is given, you will be charged for your stay and no refunds will be given.

You are financially responsible for the entire period of your reservation, which includes ‘no shows.’ Reservations are held until 8:00 am the day following your scheduled arrival.

Hanging lake Inn is unable to give refunds on early departures.

Please review your email confirmation carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.

A confirmed reservation is a two-way commitment. We commit to holding that particular room for your desired dates, therefore not selling it to someone else. You commit to staying in that room for the dates we’re holding it for you.
